AWE Cohort – 2019
The 2019 cohort marked one of the largest in-person implementations of the program, bringing together 750 emerging and established women entrepreneurs for an intensive entrepreneurship accelerator experience.
Over the course of seven days, participants engaged in immersive workshops, expert-led training sessions, and collaborative learning designed to strengthen the foundations of sustainable business growth.
Program Components
Business Model Development: Participants refined their business concepts using structured frameworks to create scalable and resilient business models.
Market Expansion Strategy: Training sessions explored how women-led businesses can enter new markets, identify growth opportunities, and position their products competitively.
Financial Planning & Business Sustainability: Entrepreneurs learned practical financial management skills including pricing, budgeting, revenue forecasting, and investment readiness.
Leadership & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Sessions focused on building confidence, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities among women founders.
Peer Collaboration & Networking: Participants formed strong professional networks, enabling knowledge sharing and potential partnerships across sectors.
The cohort concluded with participants developing actionable business plans aligned with long-term growth strategies.
